Not just for firearms, these sandrails were sprayed with satin clear duracoat over all the aluminum and gloss clear duracoat over all the blue and red so they will never have to be polished again. just wash when needed and it will look as good as the day put on. No more hours and hours of tedious polishing AGAIN !
